Cabernet wine vinegar.

Caramel is a woman-owned vineyard in the Veneto, a wine producing area best known for its prosecco, cabernet and merlot. Although we don't sell this vineyard's wines, we do sell two fine estate-bottled vinegars made with the wines for which the region is recognized.

Red wine is the Italian vinegar of choice. This vinegar is made with cabernet wine, although the flavor is softer and lighter than you would expect of a cabernet. Makes a terrific vinaigrette or meat marinade.
