Several years ago, Giacomo Santoleri left his
homeland of Rome and headed for the mountainous
terrain of Abruzzi with the intention of producing the best beans, olive oil and grains in Italy. Using organic
farming techniques and producing only small quantities,
there's no question this meticulous farmer has met his
goal. Bucking the trend toward industrialized agriculture,
Santoleri personally oversees every aspect of production,
from seeding to packaging. And the result is an exceptional
line of organic foods that has won the praise of chefs all over Italy.

Sfarrata - His top-quality blend of farro, garbanzo bean, lentil and barley pieces will make a delightful base for your next pot of soup. Our chef's own recipe is included on the bag.
Farro - A rustic barley-like grain perfect for summer salads and soups. Giacomo Santoleri grows this ancient wheat on a small farm on the hilly grounds of the Abruzzi countryside. He uses traditional methods and produces his products without the use of pesticides or chemicals.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Made with Leccino, Gentile di Chieti and local Intossa olives. With its fruity almost lemony fragrance and peppery finish, this extremely smooth oil lends itself to a wide range of uses.
