Rich dark chocolate kissed by two thin wafer cookies
This tiny, family-run pasticceria is in Biella, a town just outside the border of Valle d’Aosta that’s famous for its fine fabrics. This is the first time Pasticceria Pezzaro has sold any of its products outside of Italy.
Although it looks like a wafer, it’s actually more like a semisweet chocolate bar with a thin brown wafer coating and a hint of coffee.
Terrific paired with mascarpone cheese or whipped cream, used as a pie crust, crumbled over ice cream or drunk with tea. |
